A SILSDEN man is to stand trial after denying the assault of police officers and for driving a quad while banned.
Scott Wilkin, 32, is charged with the common assault of the two emergency workers at Little Stainton, near Skipton, on March 30 this year.
Wilkin is also charged with driving a Honda TRX 420 quad at nearby Gledstone Road while disqualified from driving, and using it without insurance.
He is further charged with the criminal damage of the bonnet and windscreen of a police vehicle on the same date at Gledstone Road.
Wilkin, of Reed Drive, appeared before Skipton Magistrates Court on Friday last week when he denied all charges.
His trial is due to take place at York Magistrates Court on July 31.
