THERE were more than 50 people at the Christmas get-together of the Bentham and District Dementia Friendly Community.
A breakfast club is held on a fortnightly basis at Bentham Fire Station when anyone living with or caring for someone with dementia can meet up, chat to old friends, make new friends and have some fun.
And, earlier this month there was a Christmas party for the group at the fire station with carol singing from Caroline's Choir, games, a Christmas lunch and a visit from Santa.
The group also celebrated the King's coronation earlier in the year with a coronation breakfast.
Find out more about the group on its Facebook Page: Bentham and District Dementia Friendly Community.
