EVANS Walford On April 2, at his home in Linton, Walford aged 90 years. Dearly loved and loving husband of Mary, dear father of Christine and Gillian and a much loved father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Formerly deputy headmaster, Ermysted's Grammer School. A service of thanksgiving for Walford's life will take place at the Church of St Michael and All Angels, Linton on Tuesday, April 15, at 12noon. Family flowers only please, any donations in his memory will be shared between St Michael's Church and a fund which supports students from Ermysted's who move on to study science. A plate will be available at the Church or donations can be forwarded to Howcrofts' Funeral Services, Duckett Street, Skipton, BD23 2EJ.
