HOLMES John Suddenly at home in Skipton on July 11, John aged 61 years, (former railway conductor). Partner of Jean, loving brother of Carol, Val and Brian, and a much loved uncle and great-uncle, and a dear son of the late Eunice and Jack Holmes. His funeral service will take place at Skipton Crematorium on Monday, July 31, at 2.10p.m. Donations in John's memory will go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, a plate will be available at the service, or c/o Howcroft`s funeral services.

Another great character gone. I had such memorys of working with John, a big hearted man with a big laugh who would back you to the hilt. He loved life and he will be missed. Farewell John i will raise a glass to you on Monday sorry i can't be there with you all saying your goodbyes.
