BEDFORD-PAYNE Brontë Of Grassington, North Yorkshire, died peacefully on August 6, 2017 aged 88 years. Dearly loved by her children, Rosemary and Humphrey and all of their families. Loved and respected by the many who knew her in Grassington, Airton and in the varied spheres of life where she was known. She loved Upper Wharfedale, its people and its history. The funeral service will take place at St Michael's and All Angels' Church, Linton at 11.00am on Friday August 18, and there will be a Meeting of Thanksgiving to celebrate her life at the Friends' Meeting House, Airton, at 3.30 pm in the afternoon of August 18, 2017. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, would be appreciated for North Yorkshire Music Therapy or Airton Friends Meeting House, either at the services or they may be forwarded to Howcroft's Funeral Services, Duckett Street, Skipton, BD23 2EJ.
