CARR Rose Irene On February 20, 2018, peacefully at Steeton Court, aged 96 years (formerly of Skipton). Loving mum of David, Simon, and the late Anthony, mum-in-law to Sheila and Gillian, and dear grandma of Hollie, George and Stanley. Her funeral service will take place at Christ Church, Skipton on Wednesday, March 7, at 1.30p.m., followed by cremation.

So very sorry to hear that our dear Auntie Rose has died. She was a big part of my childhood. Other than my own mother I never knew a more constant, gentle support whose smile always charmed her friends and family. I remember many happy times in her presence and the wonderful baking she was known for and her generous and thoughtful gift giving at Christmas. She's the last of that generation so a particularly hard loss. Our sympathy to David and Simon and their families. You were so lucky to grow up with such a loving mother and grandmother.
