STOKES Frank Died in his sleep on Wednesday April 18 at home at Laurel Croft, Embsay, aged 90. Dear father of Judy and Lindsay and partner of Kate, grandad of Rosie, Alice, Katie, James and Andrew and great-grandad of Alfred. Because of a life-long interest in science, Frank donated his body for research at Nottingham Hospital so there will be no funeral. However a memorial service will be held at Embsay Village Hall on Sunday May 13 at 12.30pm. No flowers but donations if desired to Cancer Research UK, chosen because Kate has lung cancer and because Frank lost both wives to cancer.
