MONTUORI Giuseppe (Peppe) Peacefully in Hospital on July 11 following a short illness. Peppe aged 79 years. Dear father of Rebecca, Lucy, Amelia and Carla, friend to so many. Funeral will take place at Waltonwrays Crematorium Skipton on Monday, July 23 at 1.20pm, followed by a celebration of Peppe's life at Marios Restaurant, Gisburn Road, Barnoldswick. Deeply sad to hear of the untimely death of Peppe, one of the best restaurant front men and certainly the nicest and kindest person I’ve ever worked for. As his chef during the mid-1970’s Peppe guided me through the transition from Bridge House Restaurant to the development and ultimate success of Oats.

As young men, this was a time of great excitement, enthusiasm and energy, and not without a number of memorable adventures. After more than forty years, quite recently we met up by chance and enjoyed reminiscing about a different age and how we hosted so many ’70’s celebrities. I am so pleased that the opportunity to cover old ground presented itself.
