The floral expert, who presents on ITV’s This Morning, is hosting the Ribble Valley and White Rose Ladies event to raise funds for childhood cancer charities.

The event, organised by Karen Weaving, founder of RV&WRL and proprietor of Skipton’s Rendezvous Hotel, will have a pink theme, with guests treated to a glass of pink Chateau de Sours Bordeaux wine, canapes, cakes and entertainment.

Mr Wilde will be auctioning one of his flower arrangements and providing flowers for display. Mr Wilde said: “Most people know someone affected by cancer.

"It’s extremely inspiring to be a part of making a change while having fun along the way. “It’s such a worthy cause and the team are wholeheartedly committed.”

The Pink Afternoon Tea Party is at the Rendezvous Hotel, Skipton, on Thursday, August 6. Tickets cost £15 per adult and £5 per child.
