SKIPTON'S long-established furniture and furnishings store, The Home Company, is celebrating the launch of its new-look showrooms with an open day.
The event will take place in the lifestyle store's High Corn Mill showrooms next Friday, October 16, between 2pm and 8pm. Free food and refreshments will be provided by the newly-established RachAls Kitchen. There's also a chance to win a Snuggler sofa in a fabric of choice.
The new showrooms are just one of the many changes that have taken place at the store recently.
The running of the business has been taken over by local businessman, property entrepreneur and owner of High Corn Mill, Andrew Mear, and the sales team of Linda Lee and Michelle Swinscoe has been joined by new recruits Amanda Fellows, Mark Smith and Richard Judge.
Andrew, whose family business Eagerlux owns a wide portfolio of properties across West Yorkshire, said: "The open event is our way of thanking our existing customers for their continued support and to welcome new customers into the store.
"The Home Company is a flourishing business thanks to the hard work and determination of all the team and together we will continue to provide the very best service to all our customers."
