A POTENTIALLY life-changing therapy is now on offer in Skipton, which could boost clients’ self-esteem and eradicate anxiety.

Dales Therapy Services are launching a new type of therapy which removes the need for clients to discuss the private or painful memories which have caused anxiety, fear and problems with self-confidence to manifest.

Therapist John Taylor - who operates from Craven Clinic in Skipton - has started offering the BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT), which is a quick and effective way to help clients without requiring them to reveal potentially painful memories.

BWRT is currently offered by only a small number of registered and accredited practitioners across the country. It involves a client being completely conscious and deals with their emotional response to trigger situations.

John said: "Since I started using BWRT in my practice, the results have been dramatic. Changes that have previously taken weeks to achieve are now being resolved much faster - for example, long-standing phobias are being fixed in half an hour.

“The look on clients' faces at the end of a session is wonderful when they realise that they can no longer connect to those old emotions or triggers.”

He will give two free presentations on BWRT at Craven Clinic this Monday and again the following Monday, February 22, at 1pm.
