BUSINESSES in Craven are hoping to be honoured in this year's White Rose Awards, organised by Welcome to Yorkshire to "celebrate the very best in Yorkshire tourism.
The awards ceremony will be held in the new Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate in November.
Among those shortlisted in the various categories are: Mason's Campsite, Appletreewick - Holiday Park; The Coniston Hotel, Country Estate and Spa, Coniston Cold and The Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa, Bolton Abbey - both in Large Hotel; Herriots Hotel, Skipton and Grassington House - both in Small Hotel; Keelham Farm Shop, Skipton - Taste of Yorkshire; Dalesbred, Settle - Yorkshire Producers and Makers.
Colin Mellors, chairman of the White Rose Award judges, said: “Yorkshire’s tourism is a remarkable sector with fantastic hospitality, facilities and produce on offer.
"Those shortlisted should feel very proud to have been selected against such strong competition. Choosing the eventual winners this year will be a really tough task.”
