SETTLE’S U3A singing group joined forces with the local Age UK group to hold “our big sing”.
About 70 people attended the event, which took place at the town’s St John’s Hall last Wednesday.
It had a seaside theme and included free choc ices, communal singing led by Cate Holland and monologues by Colin Etherington.
"It went very well and everyone seemed to enjoy it," said Richard Daniels, activities co-ordinator at Age UK.
The event was part of the Innovation Project, funded by North Yorkshire County Council.
