THE Skipton-based Principle Trust will hold its first annual Big Skipton Quiz at the town's Rendezvous Hotel next Thursday, October 16.
The event will start at 7.30pm and guests will include BBC2 Egghead Barry Simmons, town mayor, Cllr John Dawson, and Craven District Council chief executive Paul Shevlin.
As many as 50 teams are expected to battle it out to become the Brains of Skipton.
The trust provides holidays by the sea for disadvantaged children from across North Yorkshire.
