THIS week's Picture of the Week comes from Roger Nelson.
He took the picture of wild garlic, which has been in great abundance all over Craven, as he walked through Strid Wood, Bolton Abbey.
Some scholars, he says, claim that the word Craven is derived from the Celtic craf and means land of wild garlic - how appropriate.
Do you have a special picture you would like to see in this column? It could be a rural landscape, a town scene or something a bit quirky. Email it, with some details, to news@cravenherald.co.uk.
