ORGANISERS of Silsden's hugely popular annual Proms on the Farm are staging two other charity events.
A 40s and 50s evening is being held at the Sunnybank Social Club, in Silsden, next Friday, November 14, at 8pm.
Company B will spin the discs and there will be singing from Kitty Lamar.
Tickets are available, priced £6, from Twiggs newsagents in Kirkgate or by calling 01535 654509.
And on Saturday, November 22, Halifax Gilbert and Sullivan Society will perform the concert version of The Pirates of Penzance, at Silsden Methodist Church.
Tickets for the 2.30pm event are £6, including tea and biscuits, from Twiggs or church members.
Proceeds from both will be split between Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands and Silsden Methodist Church.
Manorlands-based Sue Ryder fundraiser, Andrew Wood, thanked the Proms team for its ongoing support.
"They always put on a good show so I’d advise people to get their tickets for these two events before they sell out," he added.
