THE date of the final Settle Sessions has been changed because of a clash of events in the town.
It will now take place next Friday, December 5, at 7.30pm at The Folly in Settle.
There will be a reception and brief annual meeting at 6.30pm before members are entertained with a selection of happy poems from a new anthology called Say Cheese by prizewinning children's author and poet Ann Pilling.
There will also be some favourite Christmas poems and writings by names like Wendy Cope, Louis MacNeice and Edward Thomas.
Tickets cost £6 (£5.50 for members) for the entertainment and are available from Cave and Crag as well as 01729 823305. For more details, visit settlesessions.co.uk
