UNDERHAND dealings in political circles will be a key part of the plot in the next production by Addingham Drama Group.

The group will present the Eric Chappell comedy, Up and Coming, at Addingham Memorial Hall.

The play focuses on political hopeful Philip Conway, who is attending a party conference where he intends to make his thrust for power. On the night in question his position is compromised by various visitors including Vicky whose love promises to be a permanent embarrassment.

There will be five performances - on April 23, 24, 29, 30 and May 1, starting at 7.30pm. Admission is £7 and tickets are available from Steve Crossley-Smith on 01943 830640.
