GRASSINGTON Festival has made a final call for entries for its inaugural 2D visual art exhibition.
Called The North and Beyond, it will be staged in Grassington Town Hall from June 23 and 27 and is expected to showcase the work of artists from across the UK.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for visual artists to be part of this renowned arts festival in the Yorkshire Dales," said a festival spokesman. "We are looking for high standard and innovative work."
Submissions should be no bigger than 70cms high and 150cms wide and will be shortlisted by a panel of judges. The deadline for entries is Monday.
There will be a private viewing of the exhibition on Monday, June 22, and a "best of show" prize will be awarded, with the winner will being offered space on the festival website for promotion.
The festival will take 20 per cent commission on all sales.
