THE Singing Farmers will perform one of their last concerts at Skipton's Mart Theatre on Sunday.
Since forming in 2004, they have raised more than £100,000 for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, but have decided to call it a day.
Concerts organiser/singer Chris Berry said: "We never intended that these concerts would become what they have. They were only intended as a one-off tour back in 2004. We’ve made a decision though that this year’s three concerts and a further trio of them next year will be the last. That will take us to 50 shows and that seems the right time to stop."
Also treading the boards at the Mart Theatre this weekend will be students from the Bad Wolf Theatre Company.
They will perform Super 2: The Resurrection of Sandy Shaw on Saturday night.
It is about world domination, missing heroes and the Church of the Apocalypse.
Tickets are available from 01756 709666.
