VICTORIA Hall, Settle, has a busy weekend ahead.
Scottish singer-songwriter Bill Adair will compère A Celebration of Burn on Saturday.
As well as being a fine guitar player, Bill is one of Scotland’s busiest and most respected singer/songwriters, combining influences from folk and blues in songs addressing the universal themes of love, work, loss and redemption.
The evening will include a piper, songs, poetry, and a supper of haggis, neeps and tatties.
And, on Sunday, the vibrant Swing Commanders take to the stage with their exciting mix of 1940s classics, boogie-woogie, western swing and 50s jump jazz.
They have a wealth of musical experience, from bar room to classical concert hall, as well as an understanding of dance and theatre. This results in a stage show that is technically precise and wildly entertaining.
Tickets for both events are available from 01729 825718 or visit settlevictoriahall.org.uk
