AS part of the Beamsley Project's 20th anniversary celebrations, a concert is being staged at Addingham Methodist Church next Saturday, April 23.

Starting at 7pm, it will feature the Heritage Boys - Andy Burton, Peter Johnson and Ian Whitaker - who got together in November 2012 for a charity fundraising event which was expected to be a 'one off'.

However, that event led to requests for several more appearances and, by the end of 2015, the three men had performed at 34 events, mostly around North Yorkshire. This year, they have their first international gig - in Germany.

The Heritage Boys make no charge for performing, but always raise money for charity - in this case, The Beamsley Project which provides fully accessible holiday accommodation for individuals with disabilities, their families and groups with disabilities in the converted Methodist Chapel on Beamsley Hill.

Tickets cost £7, including refreshments, and are available from 01756 710255 or by emailing info@beamsleyproject.org
