SETTLE'S Victoria Hall will offer two musical treats this weekend.
First to take to the stage tomorrow is British-born Daniel Kemish, an Americana artist who claims that, musically, he was "born on the wrong continent".
He prides himself on showcasing tones from his American influences and his lyrics and songwriting style are more commonly associated with the early country singers during the outlaw movement of the 70s.
He will be supported by James Weston.
And, on Sunday, multi award-winning Nordic folk band Basco will entertain.
Its music is complex and varied, from hard hitting, high-speed reels full of dust and sweat to sweet and melancholy tunes that tell of loves won and lost.
Basco's material is nearly all original, with Scandinavian, English, Celtic and American idioms to create a kind of "organic, soupy stew".
