THE Jon Palmer Acoustic Band will entertain at Settle's Victoria Hall next Friday, June 24.
The six-piece folk, roots and rock 'n' roll combo has been described as “a cross between The Pogues and Bruce Springsteen’s Seeger Session Band – with a bit of Waterboys and Saw Doctors thrown in for good measure”.
Jon visited Victoria Hall a couple of years ago to see Steve Tilston perform and immediately fell in love with the place.
"I decided there and then that I would return one day soon to play the venue with my own band," said Jon, who is a former winner of the Grolsch UK Songwriter of the Year and a published songwriter with Sony.
Doors open at 7.15pm, with the gig starting at 8pm.
Tickets cost £8 in advance from 01729 825718 or £10 on door.
