GRASSINGTON Community Cinema will show two films at the village's Octagon Theatre next Saturday, July 9.

The first offering, at 4.30pm, is the U-rated Peanuts Movie, featuring state-of-the-art 3D animation.

Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the Peanuts gang make their big-screen debut, with Charlie Brown embarking upon an epic and heroic quest, while his best pal, the lovable beagle Snoopy, takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron.

Then, at 7.30pm, older filmgoers will be treated to a showing of the latest James Bond film, Spectre.

It is the fourth outing for Daniel Craig as 007, and the second film to be directed by Sam Mendes.

It starts with a cryptic message from the past, which sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia, the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.

Admission is £2.50 for children and £5 for adults, with a loyalty discount scheme available.
