A CONCERT by the Grassington Singers will feature well known American songs and spirituals.
The concert, titled Inspiration, will be in Grassington Town Hall on Sunday, September 25, at 3pm.
The main work will be a substantial piece by John Rutter entitled Feel the Spirit.
It is a collection of well known American songs and spirituals arranged by this very popular composer.
A couple of the more familiar songs include Rhythm of Life and Chattanooga Choo Choo.
The concert will be conducted by Nicholas Hewlett and the soloist is Sally Goodman.
The remainder of the programme will consist of a number of short, varied pieces.
A homemade cream tea is included in the ticket price, which is £7.50.
