KVU Singers, the Sutton-in-Craven based mixed voice choir, will perform Alan Bullard’s 'A Light in the Stable: a Cantata for Christmas' in a Cowling church on Saturday, November 26.

The concert, which starts at 7.30pm in St Andrew's Methodist Church, tells the Christmas story through a blend of original settings and well-known carols and the audience is invited to join in for some carols.

Tickets costing £6, which includes tea and a mince pie, are available on 01535 635101 or from any church member.

KVU Singers is also inviting people to come and sing Handel’s Messiah.

The choir will have an open rehearsal at 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 30, in South Craven Baptist Church, Holme Lane, Sutton-in-Craven.

All voices welcome and people are encouraged to bring their own copy of music if they have one.
