THE BAD Wolf Theatre Company returns to The Mart Theatre in Skipton for its fourth annual Christmas pantomime.

The pantomime Sleeping Beauty will be staged from tomorrow to Sunday.

"This has to be The Mart Theatre's favourite tradition," said Andrew Lynan, artistic director of The Mart Theatre.

"You are cordially invited to a royal christening at The Grand Castle," he said. "Our magically inclined friends, the three Good Fairies, will each bestow a mystical gift upon little Princess Aurora as she is betrothed to Prince Philip, thus ensuring the Kingdoms of Skipton and Ilkley will always be united.

"We shall make merry with much dance, laughter and Christmas cheer, indeed a most splendid afternoon for the entire family. No need to bring gifts, roping unwilling parents up on stage shall be reward enough.

"Please rest assured that the dreadful witch Maleficent will most definitely not be receiving an invite!"

The show will be staged at 7.30pm tomorrow and at 1pm and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets costs £8 for adults, £6 for children and £24 for a family, and are available by visiting themarttheatre.org.uk or calling 01756 709666.
