The band will bring to life the magic of the sixties with their tribute to over 25 bands of that era.

Michael Bernstein and Colin Stevens will perform the lively and amusing musical show Flanders and Swann Drop Another Hat, a tribute to Michael Flanders and Donald Swann, at The Mart Theatre at 7.30pm on Saturday, May 27.

Tickets cost £16.50 for the Counterfeit Sixties and £15 (£13 concessions) for Flanders and Swann Drop Another Hat.

The Jay Walkers will perform No Job For A Woman at 7.30pm tonight in Skipton Town Hall.

A partnership project between Skipton Town Hall and The Jay Walkers, the play is based on the memories and life of a woman who worked at Armley Mill in Leeds and is set in 1915 and the present time.

Craven Museum in Skipton Town Hall is taking part in a Museums at Night event from 5pm to 8pm tonight.

People are invited to meet the museum’s very old teddy bear, and visitors may also bring their own teddy bear or cuddly toy to take part in a teddy bear’s picnic.

People can also make a moving bear puppet and take part in a story session. Please bring a torch.

Fashion students at Craven College will exhibit their work until May 31 at Holy Trinity Church in Skipton.

The students will present fashion inspired by stories in the stained glass windows of the church.

They have also completed a costume collection inspired by the 400-year-old dress of the Countess of Roxburgh, Jean Kerr, who was a spy for Charles I.

There will be a special event at 1pm tomorrow when the students will lead discussions about their work.

An exhibition displaying the artwork of Settle man Ashley Morgan will launch at 11.30am today in Skipton Library.

The exhibition by Ashley, who has a learning disability, will feature a variety of landscapes, portraits and abstract images. It can be viewed throughout May during library open times.

Skipton Film Club will screen the film La Belle Et La Bete at 5.15pm on Sunday, June 4, in the Plaza Cinema, on Sackville Street. A short film by local filmmakers will start the evening.

The film is open to everyone and tickets cost £5.50 for film club members and £6.50 for non members.

Skipton Folk Unplugged will host a work songs theme night starting at 8.30pm on Monday at the Narrow Boat, on Victoria Street.

Drystone Radio will present a night of live music on Friday, May 26, at the Venue sports and music bar, on Cavendish Street.

Musicians to perform on the evening, which runs from 8pm until late, include Leeds rap artists Nelson and Jack City, Leeds soul singers Cole LC and PAiiGE, Shipley band The Sheratons and Keighley duo Caledonia Road. DJs Trophy and DJ Youngy will do sets on the night.

SETTLE: Collectors’ Rooms: an exhibition of painting, prints and sculpture, will run until Monday, May 29, at Gavagan Art gallery in Settle.

The spring exhibition will feature a display of Raku ceramics by Stephen Murfitt and examples of work by other artists and ceramicists.

The gallery in Settle Town Hall is open from 11am to 4pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holidays.

Award-winning artist Tom Palin will display his paintings until July 8 in the Gallery on the Green in Settle.

The exhibition consists of 39 oil paintings and all works comprise twin hardwood panels made between 2011 and 2016.

Legendary pop icon and songwriter Dean Friedman will perform at 8pm on Saturday in Settle Victoria Hall.

Doors open at 7.15pm and all tickets cost £25.

Lizanne Knott, a member of the Philadelphia music scene, will perform at 7.30pm on Sunday in Settle Victoria Hall.

Doors open at 6.45pm and all tickets cost £10.

BARNOLDSWICK: A performance of The LOST Will and Testament of Jake Thackray by John Watterson will take place at 7pm tonight at the Barnoldswick Music and Arts Centre, 18-22 Rainhall Road.

Blues musician Kent DuChaine will then perform in the centre at 7.30pm on Wednesday, May 31.

BENTHAM: Bentham’s carnival weekend kicks off in Bentham Town Hall on Friday, June 2, with an evening of poetry by Dr Mike Garry and the first appearance in Bentham by Miss P.

BOLTON ABBEY: The Bolton Abbey Priory Concert Series 2017 will feature a performance by the Dave Challis Jazz Trio at 7.30pm tomorrow. They will perform swing era hits and a host of Dixieland favourites.

The Priory also will hold a celebrity organ recital by Neil Taylor, which will take place at 3.30pm on Sunday.

CLAPHAM: Clapham Art Group will hold its 66th annual exhibition from Saturday, May 27, to Sunday, June 4.

In addition to fully framed work there will be sketches, mounted paintings and cards for sale.

The exhibition in Clapham Village Hall, on Cross Haw Lane, is open from 11am to 6pm daily and there will be an open preview from 8pm on Friday, May 26.

CONONLEY: Cononley Art Group will hold its annual exhibition from Saturday, May 27, to Monday, May 29, in the Cononley Village Institute.

Handmade cards and paintings will be for sale or viewing and the works cover every type of medium from oil paintings, acrylics and watercolours to pastels and collages. Artwork is sold both framed and unframed.

The opening hours are from 10am to 4pm each day.

Cononley Cinema Club's next film A Street Cat Named Bob will be screened on Saturday, June 10. Doors open at 6.30pm and the film will start at 7pm.

GRASSINGTON: Upper Wharfedale Arts and Literature Society will present Shakespeare Starters at The Octagon on Thursday, May 25, from 7.30 pm.

This will be a gentle introduction involving a number of activities drawing on a range of examples from Shakespeare's plays and poetry.
