US BAND Low Lily explore the roots and branches of American folk music as they travel from Vermont to Settle for a July 2 gig.
Low Lily are described as masterful players, composers and arrangers with deep relationships to traditional music styles.
Their music ranges from bluegrass to Irish, Scottish, New England and Old Time Appalachian.
Fatea magazine said the band compellingly yet unassumingly mixed contemporary folk and bluegrass sensibilities with a sensitive use of their keen musicianship.
Originally from California, Liz Simmons developed a unique vocal, guitar and songwriting style that drew from her childhood raised by folk musicians
A spokesman said: “Together as Low Lily, these relatively young but well-seasoned musicians bring their considerable strengths, experience and history together to create an undeniably rich and versatile musical palette.”
