ONE of the UK’s top Queen tribute bands will be playing in Gisburn later this month.

Queen II, who have been touring Britain and Europe captivating audiences with their nostalgic show, will be coming to the Ribble Valley to play at Gisburn Festival Hall, Burnley Road, Gisburn, at 8pm on Friday, October 27.

The band consists of an authentic four-piece line up delivering powerful vocals and driving rock anthems to faithfully recreate the energy, excitement and emotion of a classic Queen concert and provide a breathtaking show.

Festival Hall secretary David Waters said: “We had a fantastic Abba tribute band last year and everyone wondered how we were going to top that. Well I think this Queen tribute band will be equally good if not better. It’s certain to be a sell-out show and I’d advise people to get their tickets early.”

Entry is by ticket only and tickets priced at £20 include a hot supper. There will also be a raffle on the night.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the upkeep of Gisburn Festival Hall.

Tickets are available from Sue Cowburn on 07809 886890 or from the Delicious Deli and Café, Main Street, Gisburn.
