LOCAL singing group Octameron will visit Hellifield Institute tomorrow with a programme of Maytime Melodies.
The group is known for their friendly and informal performances – most of the members, together with accompanist Brian Heaton, have been performing together for over 20 years, and as well as entertaining their audiences, they aim to enjoy themselves and their music.
Their trademark variety in programming endeavours to include something for everyone, and this concert will feature songs from Gershwin to the Beatles and the Carpenters, as well as folk songs and new arrangements of some traditional favourites.
The concert starts at 8pm and doors open at 7.15pm.
The audience are invited to bring their own drinks and nibbles. Tickets, priced at £5, are available from Karen Dunwoodie on 01729 851070 or on the door.
