PIANIST Kathryn Stott will perform a re-scheduled concert for Skipton Music in June.

Due to heavy snow on February 27, Kathryn’s concert with Skipton Music in Skipton Town Hall had to be cancelled.

It was the first cancellation for the music society in 30 years.

This recital will now be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday, June 19, in Skipton Town Hall.

Kathryn, an international pianist, is playing a 60th birthday programme of her favourite pieces to include music by Bach, Grieg, Chopin, Wagner, Ravel, Strauss and more.

Skipton Music concert secretary Bunty Leder said: “To hold a concert in summer for the music society is a rare happening and the committee look forward to welcoming concertgoers to this excellent recital.”

The tickets for all season ticket holders will be honoured and there are still a few seats available at £17 for adults and £1 for children.
