THE third annual Settle Victoria Hall Beer Festival will be held next week.
Volunteer Tanya Carter, who organised the first beer festival in 2016, said: “It was a steep learning curve, but with help from Keighley and Craven Campaign for Real Ale, sponsorship from local businesses, enthusiastic supporters and loan of bar equipment from That Bar Company in Settle, the weekend was a success, raising nearly £2,000 for the hall. The second festival in 2017 built on this success and raised almost £3,500.”
This year’s beer festival, which runs from Thursday, July 5, to Saturday, July 7, will showcase 20 real ales. Cider, wine and soft drinks will also available, along with a variety of food and entertainment
The festival will be open from 5pm to 10pm on Thursday, and noon to 10pm on the Friday and Saturday.
As the festival is a fundraising event for Settle Victoria Hall, entry will cost £1.50 on Thursday and £3 on Friday and Saturday. A glass deposit charge of £2 applies to all sessions. Glasses can be kept as a souvenir or returned for a £2 refund.
