SKIPTON Players will take to the air with an extra production for the theatre group’s 2018 season at Skipton Little Theatre.
Boeing Boeing, written by Marc Camolleti, will run from Tuesday, July 31, to Saturday, August 4, at the theatre on Clifford Street.
The riotous farce, which has enjoyed hit revivals in London and New York, is directed by Phil Smith.
The story, set in the 1960s, follows swinging bachelor Bernard who could not be happier with a flat in Paris and three gorgeous stewardesses all engaged to him without knowing about each other.
But Bernard’s perfect life gets bumpy when his friend Robert comes to stay and a new and speedier Boeing jet throws off all of his careful planning.
Soon all three stewardesses are in town simultaneously, timid Robert is forgetting which lies to tell to whom, and catastrophe looms.
Doors open at 7pm and the fast-moving comedy starts at 7.30pm.
To book tickets, which cost £10 or £5 for students and children, skiptonlittletheatre.org.uk/book-online/, ring 07527 141176 or email skipton.little.theatre@gmail.com
This play is in addition to the Players’ normal season and is not part of the theatre subscription plan.
