Art lovers in Settle are spoiled for choice, with three new exhibitions opening in the town.
A selection of Cornish art is on display at Linton Court Gallery, featuring paintings, prints, ceramics and jewellery created by both old and new artists.
Gallery director Mary Gavagan said: “It is an unusual exhibition for North Yorkshire, but it features quite a wide range of work and it will have wide appeal.”
A new exhibition will open at the Gallery on the Green on Saturday.
The gallery, based in a former phone box in Upper Settle, will exhibit photographs by Yorkshire photographer Tessa Bunney, who focuses on different landscapes and how they are shaped by human activity. She spent two six-month periods in Vietnam, exploring the suburbs and villages in and around the capital, Hanoi.
The exhibition, which will run for two months, coincides with the publication of Tessa’s book, Home Work, which will be on sale at Archway Books in Settle.
The third exhibition features the work of Settle Photographic Group.
The group, which staged its first exhibition last year, is showing its work in Settle Parish Church from Saturday until next Sunday, September 12.
Members’ work also forms part of the ongoing Water Works exhibition at the Folly, which runs until October 31.
