An old time music hall event is being held in Skipton on Saturday.

The melodic jamboree follows a challenge from the Rev David Wiseman to members of St Andrew’s Church to use their talents and skills to raise funds for Christian Aid.

While some members of the congregation have been busy manufacturing lemon curd and printing notelets, others have put together an old time music hall concert.

It will be staged in the church hall, on Newmarket Street, at 7pm and the audience is invited to join in the festivities by dressing up in Edwardian costume.

The show is open to all.
