Craven art groups to stage exhibitions

Two Craven art groups are preparing for their annual shows.

Kelbrook Art Group will exhibit more than 300 pictures in the village hall from next Saturday, August 25, to Monday, August 27.

There will also be a raffle to win a painting donated by artist Audrey Walker, with proceeds to be split between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and a local charity.

Admission is free and the exhibition will be open from 10am to 5pm on the Saturday and Monday and 11am to 5pm on the Sunday.

Buckden Art Group will stage an exhibition in the village institute from next Saturday, August 25 to Sunday, September 2.

More than 200 paintings will be on sale, with a special section for the Flowers of the Dales Festival.

Opening times are 11am to 5pm and admission is free, although donations will be invited for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
