A Take That tribute band, the “new Michael Buble” and a film premiere are among highlights of this year’s Fallfest.

The arts festival at Glusburn Community and Arts Centre returns from September 28 to 30 following its successful debut last year.

The packed programme includes several bands, a ceilidh, art exhibition, children’s activities and micro beer festival. New additions include a Drystone Radio soap opera broadcast and an “apple day” hosted by Naylor’s Brewery.

Fallfest will start on the Friday evening with tribute band Take That 2, supported by local act The Alexines.

Saturday will open at 11am with morning coffee, an art gallery, arts and crafts stalls, apple drink tasting, a beer festival, climbing wall and bouncy castle.

From 1pm, there will be music from ceilidh band Rakish Paddy, singer Ellie Gill, classic rock band Monitor and the Rock Up and Sing choir.

The evening will see headliner Peter Grant, hailed as the UK’s Michael Buble after reaching the Top 10 with an album of standards and big band classics.

Sunday will feature an advance screening for Dan Hartley’s new film Lad, which was shot in and around Settle . The evening will feature artists including The Alexines, Trio Gitan, Brookfold, Sean Kildunne and Checkout Betty & The Barcodes.
