Austwick Community Players will bring their own brand of comedy to the stage early next month.
Their 2014 production, Oil Tek the High Road, has a topical theme with a Caledonian flavour, a Western touch, a hint of Eastern delight and plenty of Yorkshire humour.
Each year, the show is written, produced and performed by local people.
The opening night – Thursday, March 6 – is for the over-65s in Austwick and Lawkland parishes and includes a free supper.
The Players then throw open the show to the public on the following two nights, March 7 and 8, to help pay for the over-65s evening.
The doors open at 7pm at Austwick Parish Hall and tickets, costing £6 for adults and £2.50 for children, are available from Crossleigh Stores or telephone 015242 51415
