Skipton Brass Band is inviting the community to attend an open rehearsal tomorrow.
It will be held at the town’s Christ Church just days before it competes in the fourth section of the North of England Regional Brass Band Championships.
The musicians will perform in front of guest adjudicators Gordon Eddision and Stuart Derrick.
And they have invited along two other bands - the York Railway Institute and Ripon City - who are competing in different sections of the championships, which take place in Darlington next Sunday, March 16.
“Each band will include a programme from their own repertoire,” said a Skipton spokesman.
The rehearsal starts at 7.15pm and admission is free.
