FOUR students at Leeds College of Music are to make their debut in Skipton at a gig in town hall tomorrow night.
Lost Meridian is made up of 17-year-old vocalist Alex Johnston-Seymour, of Skipton, guitarist Jamie Ferguson, 18, of Ilkley, Rowan Wells, 17, of Leeds, bassist and 18-year-old drummer, Luke Hatfield, also of Leeds.
All four are studying popular music and have just started their second year.
"We've played at venues around Leeds and at Live at the Lido in Ilkley in the summer and now we're looking for local support from Skipton," said Alex, who is a classically trained pianist.
"We're a blues/rock band but introduce an electronic element to give it a modern vibe," said Alex. "The most important thing is that we compose original music."
Tomorrow's concert will include a combination of covers and the band's own material.
Alex added he was hoping to find backing vocalists, possibly from local schools, and to encourage people interested in photography and video to record the show,
Footage will be put on Youtube and various other internet media sites.
Lost Meridian - which earlier in the year entered the national Rock the House competition - will be supported by Skipton based band, Flying Fools.
Doors open at 7pm and tickets costing £5 are available from Skipton Tourist Information on 01756 792809.
