FORMER Christians and Yachts songwriter Henry Priestman will celebrate the release of his new live 20-track DVD at Settle's Victoria Hall next Friday, February 27.
Called Settle Down, it was filmed during his last gig at the hall in April and also features Les Glover, Pip Jopling, Ben Hughes, Peter Robinson, Martin Peirson, Michelle Plum and Nick Hall.
Writing on his website, Henry says: "Anyone who attended the gig at Settle Victoria Hall can hopefully vouch for what a wonderful night it was, with a lot of love and warmth in the room."
And he adds the DVD has turned out amazingly well, "considering that we basically used three different line-ups of people I gig regularly with, most of whom had never met before; only a fool would risk shooting a DVD under these circumstances!"
With a music career spanning 35 years, Henry first started the album four years ago.
Victoria Hall manager Ann Harding said: "Having discovered a love of live work (mixing ramshackle chaos and tear-jerking poignancy in equal measures) he’s relishing his return to the hall for what’s sure to be a party to dispel those February blues."
The concert will be free, with music goers invited to make a donation as they leave. Tickets can be reserved at settlevictoriahall.org.uk or call 01729 825718.
