HEIDI Tidow and Belinda O'Hooley, nominated as best duo in the 2015 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, will headline at the First Sunday Folk event at Settle's Victoria Hall this weekend.
Based in Yorkshire, the two performers are regarded as trailblazers of contemporary music and songwriting.
Last year, they received a personal invitation from Billy Bragg to play at Glastonbury, took part in sessions on BBC 6 Music and Radio 2 and saw their album, The Hum, win a MOJO award.
Their performances are said to be powerful and deeply moving, with an honesty and empathy to disarm even the hardest of hearts.
The gig - which will be introduced by presenter, singer and comedian Mike Harding - will take place on Sunday from 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from settlevictoriahall.org.uk or call 01729 825718.
