A NOSTALGIC sing-along will be staged in Skipton as part of a First World War centenary project bringing communities across the UK together to play the Last Post.
It will take place at St Stephen's School Hall, on Gargrave Road, tomorrow at 7.30pm, and will feature songs from the two world wars, with the words projected onto a screen.
Taking part will be church organist and former member of the PJ Proby Band Phil Lawler, guitarist Bill Thompson, Skipton Ukulele Group and the Buckden Singers.
And there will be a rendition of the Last Post, possibly on non-conventional instruments.
Tickets cost £6 and are available from 01756 791932, 01756 228671 or 01756 793000.
