STEVE Tilston - who has been described as the complete guitarist - will headline at Lothersdale Live on Saturday.
He is one of the country’s most celebrated songsmiths and is widely recognised within the world of folk and contemporary music.
Born in Liverpool and raised in the Midlands, Steve made his recording debut in 1971.
Although known as a songwriter, Steve has always had an ear for the tradition and has recorded new interpretations of old favourites.
He wrote the classic The Slipjigs and Reels, The Naked Highwayman and Here’s to Tom Paine and, not one to stand still, he is now “reaching forward” with a new album, The Reckoning, and an historical novel, set in Bristol and the New World.
Lothersdale Live is held in the village hall and doors open at 7.30pm. For ticket details, visit lothersdalelive.org.uk
