THE Museum of North Craven Life, based at The Folly, Settle, is firming up its programme of exhibitions and events for this year.

One of its ideas is to put together a biking display, featuring old and new, to mark the Tour de Yorkshire coming to Settle on Friday, April 29.

Organisers would like to hear from anyone with local biking memories or memorabilia or anyone who has information about the two cycling clubs that were active in the Settle area in the 1890s and 1900s.

"So please search your sheds and attics for any John Bull repair kits and other treasures which may be lurking there and get in touch as soon as possible," said a museum spokesman.

The museum will open for the new season on Tuesday, March 22, and, in the meantime, it can be contacted on 015242 51388 or email curator@ncbpt.org.uk
