SAXOPHONIST Snake Davis is making two visits to Craven.

He will perform his Burden of Paradise show next Friday, April 22, at Burnsall Village Hall - said to be one of the musician's favourite venues.

He will be joined by Mark Cresswell on guitar, Dave Bowie on bass and vocalist Helen Watson for an evening of laid-back jazz, blues and folk.

The concert starts at 8pm and tickets are available from 01756 720680 (cash only) or at wegottickets.com/event/345534

And Snake will be back in Craven on Friday, April 29, performing at the Mart Theatre, Skipton at 7.30pm.

This time he will join forces with SnakeStrings - a string quartet whose credentials included the Mercury-nominated album The Sea by Corinne Bailey Rae and performances with some of the world's finest orchestras and singers including The Halle, Opera North, Sting and The Pet Shop Boys.

Together, they will perform a mix of "funky, classical, soulful and world music, all with a Snakey twist".
