THE junior section of Sutton’s Green Hut Theatre Company has restarted sessions following the Easter break.
Members of Laffia learn drama skills through improvisation and drama games, along with the occasional singing and script workshop.
The youngsters, aged from eight to 18, can also take part in the Green Hut’s popular annual pantomime at Sutton Village Hall.
This year’s show, which will begin rehearsals in September, will be a traditional family version of the much-loved Cinderella.
Laffia members this week began a spring-summer drama project that will see them creating a whole civilisation on an imaginary island and acting out stories from its past and present.
Laffia usually meets on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm at the green hut behind Sutton’s Main Street mini-market. The next sessions are on April 26, May 3 and May 17.
