A PRIZE-WINNING instrumental duo are to make their first appearance in Craven this weekend at Skipton Christ Church.

Violinist, Marianatalia Ruscica, and guitarist, Davide Sciacca, who perform as Ten Strings, have a repertoire ranging from Paganini to the Beatles.

The duo, who hale from Sicily, have already made their mark in other parts of the north, stretching from Liverpool to Bradford, and will be performing at Christ Church from 7.30pm on Saturday.

Davide will be making a solo appearance the following day, between 2pm and 4pm, at Bolton Abbey Priory Church.

During July, the duo played at prestigious venues in Merseyside and Wales, including Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, and at the launch of a summer arts exhibition at Cartwright Hall in Bradford.

They will be touring Scotland in August, and among their venues will be castles and stately homes.
